Oana put forward a number of points that will certainly be critical moving forward in making the planet more sustainable, and reducing the devastating affect that mankind can have on the ecosystem. I think to improve the level of co-operation in the international arena it will be important to emphasize the work that is already being done, such as the AIMS project in Africa for building African universities to help develop the great resource of young minds in the region. It is also important I think to get people thinking about the real issues that are pushing the global pollution situation, it still seems that global deforrestation is responsible for almost 20% of carbon dioxide emission which is a huge contribution to global climate change as well as having a potentially devastating effect on nearby ecosystems and habitats. Another big technology that is bound to have an important role is the synthesis and storage of hydrogen, for use with hydrogen fuel cells which once the technology is proven would revolutionize the way cars operate and how they affect the environment. It is important as Oana says to spread the word and make people aware of what is needed, what is going on and how they can help. Every field of industry has a part to play, and every person is needed to ensure that we can produce unilateral solutions making use of the skills of all the countries of the world. I urge each of you to analyze your skills and industry and identify those technologys and concepts that could be applied to bring new thinking to the table and new co-operation internationally.
