Welcome to the website of the Vinyl 2010 Essay Competition 2008/9. Many congratulations to all who entered this year's competition. Levels of participation and the quality of this year's entries have certainly surpassed the expectations of the entire team at Vinyl 2010!

The moment you have all been waiting for has finally arrived: the two judging panels have agreed on this years winners! And they are:

In the non-EEA / global category, the prize goes to: Christian Williams / Essay 738

The industry prize (allocated by a separate judging panel consisting of industry representatives) goes to Wei Chao Zhou / Essay 504

Congratulations to the winners on behalf of the Vinyl 2010, the two judging panels! And a big thank you of course to all the participants - the essays were all of a very high standard and the judges were extremely impressed.

The Vinyl 2010 essay competition team would also like to thank everybody that has been actively contributing to the discussions on this website over the past weeks.
